My Garden

Some of the things growing in my garden: Straw flowers, mums, rhubarb, bleeding hearts, baby iris, dutch iris, bearded iris of various colors, allysum, marigolds, tomatoes, beans, butternut squash, beans of various sorts, cantelope, watermelon, sweet woodruff, chives, bachelor buttons, candy tuft, balloon flowers, coreopsis, lily of the valley, daisies, russian sage, day lilies, plox, spiderwort, hybiscus, peonies, astilbe, crocosmia, lambs ears, purple coneflowers, scotch moss, sundrops, red hot pokers, coral bells, dianthus, roses, silvas, geraniums, petunias, impatiens, and some other anuals that I forget the names of. I've planted some since the picture was taken, and everything else has grown. When the boys take their afternoon naps, I head out to my garden. My little retreat. A place where I can wonder at the beauty and expanse of God's creation.
