James was scared of the vacuum cleaner until I asked if he wanted to try it. "Yeah!" So I showed him how to make it go. Ours has an auto function with a lever in the handle, so as long as you hold the lever down it goes, and as soon as you let go of the handle it stops. There is one spot in the carpet that received a 20 minute cleaning. Needless to say, he is no longer afraid of the vacuum. Andrew enjoyed watching from the safety of the back porch.

James and Andrew love each others' company. So often Andrew follows James around, yet sometimes its the other way around. When Andrew found a great playing spot under the table, James couldn't wait to finish dinner so he could join him.

Most of the time James doesn't mind if Andrew plays with him. James has really gotten into his trucks lately, and Andrew doesn't mind either. He loves anything that he can spin round and round - wheels are a favorite. At Andrew's age, James liked anything on a hinge that he could flip back and forth. Its fun to see the differences.

The cars and trucks again. If James wants to get away from Andrew, he takes his toys to the couch. Unfortunately for James, Andrew has started pulling himself up on furniture and side-stepping to get what he wants. Oh, well. I consider it a blessing (for all of us) that James and Andrew are on different nap schedules. They each get some alone time to play and one-on-one time with me. I love it!

Andrew and Daddy were matching on Saturday! You can't tell from the picture, but Andrew is waving bye-bye. One of his new favorite things to do. And he gets so excited when someone waves back, like - hey, you can do that too? Ah, they grow up so fast!
